CHARTER FLIGHTS FROM CLUJ AVRAM IANCU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Starting with May the 25th, 2017, the Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport will launch the charter flights. The Summer Schedule includes touristic flights to 9 destinations, from 2 countries: GREECE (Zakynthos, Rhodes, Corfu, Heraklion, Thessaloniki, Skiathos, Chania, Santorini) and TURKEY (Antalya).

Passenger traffic on Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport increased in the first quarter of 2017 by almost 60% over, compared with the same period of 2016. Thus, in January, February and March 2017 there were registered 516.953 passengers, compared with 324.096 passengers in Q1 2016.

WIZZ AIR CELEBRATES 7 MILLION PASSENGERS IN CLUJ-NAPOCA ON THE NEWEST ROUTE TO BRATISLAVA

Cluj-Napoca, 10 March 2017: Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Romania’s largest airline, celebrated today seven million passengers carried on its low-fare routes from Cluj-Napoca. WIZZ’s lucky 7 millionth passenger was travelling on the first flight from Bratislava to Cluj and was greeted upon arrival with a WIZZ return ticket.
