After the success of the flight from Tel Aviv to Budapest and Bucharest, launched since December 2012, we expect the same enthusiasm from our customers for the new services from Tel Aviv to Vilnius, Katowice and Cluj-Napoca. Along with the accessible Wizz Air tariffs, these destinations will be very popular in the Israelite community that travels in Europe. We are confident that Tel Aviv will benefit from the large number of tourists visiting Israel in the year. "

The flights on Tel Aviv route are a premiere for Cluj-Napoca International Airport, following our strategy of route network development. This destination offers the possibility of tourism trips but will also strengthen business connections between Transylvania and Israel. "We believe that Tel Aviv destination will have the same popularity as the other routes operated by Wizz Air from Cluj-Napoca International Airport" said David Ciceo, CEO Cluj-Napoca International Airport.

In its turn, Horea Dorin Uioreanu, the Cluj County Council President, declared: "The partnership between Cluj-Napoca International Airport and Wizz Air airline proves once again its viability. Here we are talking about a route beyond the geographical boundaries of Europe. Is a first step and I am sure that we will soon hear about other destinations. "
