Press Release: Conference “Passenger Terminal Expo & Conference 2017, 14-16 March, Amsterdam

From the 14th March to 16th March, in Amsterdam (Netherlands) it takes place one of the most prestigious international conferences regarding aviation, "Passenger Terminal EXPO & CONFERENCE 2017".

 

The event brings together top specialists in the aviation industry, governmental officials from aviation domain, airlines’ and companies’ officials and top managers of the most important airports.

 

Mr. David Ciceo, General Manager of Cluj “Avram Iancu” International Airport, participates at this conference as speaker. On this occasion, Mr. David Ciceo presented a paper regarding the importance of intermodal transport. Within the paper named “The importance of intermodal projects for small airports”, Mr. David Ciceo underlined the challenges that involve the development of intermodal transport and the benefits of this kind of transport. By the advantages of this project will benefit, in the same time, airports, railway and road companies. In the same time, this project means a significant element for the development of local and regional communities.

“The implementation of intermodal project for Cluj International Airport - which will welcome this year about 2,700,000 million passengers – is not an easy task; it will be a complex project, according the financial support and the establishment of it. The accomplishment of this project will generate the development of the Cluj county and of the entire region”, declared Mr. David Ciceo, the General Manager of Cluj “Avram Iancu” International Airport.

 

With a high academic and scientific level, the conference was sustained by a specific exhibition which gave to the participants the opportunity to observe the newest achievements from the aviation domain.
