DAVID CICEO, THE GENERAL MANAGER OF CLUJ „AVRAM IANCU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT”, WAS INVITED TO LEAD A PRESTIGIOUS CONFERENCE IN CIVIL AVIATION IN SINGAPORE

 

David Ciceo, the general manager of Cluj „Avram Iancu” International Airport, was invited to lead one of the most prestigious conference in civil aviation, „Operational Excellence in Airports Summit 2018”, which takes place in Singapore from 30th  January to 2nd  February. Invited by the organizers Mr. David Ciceo will lead during 2 days the conference which is focused on the operational issues in airport management.

 

The summit brings together decision makers from the airport operators around the world and the debates will provide a unique perspective of operational excellence.

The main themes of discussions are about the daily operation  activities  and also about the implementation of best practices on operate under crisis situations, the costs efficiency, the adjustment of logistics and infrastructure to manage the increase of passenger traffic, and also the planning of  human resources.

  

On this occasion, Mr. David Ciceo was invited to present a case study about the Cluj „Avram Iancu” International Airport. Entitled the Operational Excellence, The role of Regulation 139 in Europe – Lessons Learned, the presentation  is about the strategies that were implemented by the management of Cluj International Airport to manage the increase of passenger traffic.

 

In 2017, Cluj „Avram Iancu” International Airport registered a record number of 2.690.000 passengers, which means an increase by 43% compared to 2016. In present, Cluj International Airport offers more than 40 destinations in 20 countries.
