Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport was mentioned in the latest ACI Europe report. This fact is the result of the spectacular passenger traffic growth in the first quarter of 2017. So, compared with the same period of 2016, the passenger traffic at Cluj Airport increased with about 60%. In the first quarter of 2017, there were registered 516,953 passengers at Avram Iancu International Airport in Cluj and in the first three months of 2016 there were reported 324,096 passengers.
